I have found this experience to be quite challenging. I now have a facebook account that I use regularly but as for everything else I am not sure that I will find much use for it (at the moment)! I think that in the near future I will be able to utilise a lot of the tools, in particular I like ZOHO. I think I will find it very beneficial. I am glad that we can continue to access the tutorials and discovery exercises because I think that if I am not using them often that I will soon forget what to do, in addition to all the different accounts etc. In closing I will say that I have found this to be an enjoyable challenge that has opened my eyes to some of what my kids keep telling me about!!

Wow I got to listen to one of my favorite childhood stories "Ruplestiltskin". At least I could listen to this!!

I don't know what's going on but I can not listen to anything! I even went into i-tunes and couldn't get anything to play. I can listen to the library 2.0 podcast but couldn't find anything on the other sites that would play, not sure if there is something funny going on with my QuickTime. Might check it out tomorrow at work.

I chose to explore Facebook, mainly because shortly after starting this program I joined facebook and have quickly become hooked. It is a great way to catch up with people that you have not seen for years, some have been over 15 years but is also a great way to keep in touch with your current friends. There is a lot of fun to be had and an easy emailing tool too. You can share photos and videos in a safe and secure environment where you can chose who sees your images. There is lots of fun to be had too, with games, quizzes and just silly stuff (everyone needs a bit of light relief every now and then)!

I have to be honest, it doesn't mean a lot at the moment. Looking deeper I think that it is exciting but a bit daunting how this will effect us. One thing is for sure it has definately taken a hold.

Well I'm back, bit hazy but here anyway... RSS feeds, interesting, not sure if I would use them all that much. I may explore a bit further to see if I can come across anything of real interest to me. On to thing 9......

For thing 7 I just need to create a blog about anything that interests me about technology. Where do you start? My eyes are opening to a whole new world and I find it fascinating. I don't have the internet at home and I am seriously thinking about putting it up there on my what I need list now list!! I could see myself spending many hours exploring, probably too many hours! Anyway lunch is over and work is calling. I just have to add a comment to someone else's blog - I wonder who it will be......

During lunch today I have explored the mapping in Flickr and at Trippermap. I created another account at trippermap, which I don't think I really needed to do but anyway now my photos are on a map at trippermap and at Flickr. I think that this would be a really cool way to store photos from a holiday. Very interesting.

Well well well.... I have successfully linked a page from Flickr in a blog and now I have also created a Flickr account, added two photos and I am now hopefully including one in a post. I will publish this and then get back to you!!

It has worked, the process is quite easy, however now I have another account now in Yahoo! I think that I will end up with a list the length of my arm by the time this is finished!

Trouble Logging in Today

Tried to log in this morning and either my password memory is failing me or my email address had been forgotten. Followed the prompts to reset password, which was quite easy and now I'M BACK!!!
